How to check the billing term behind a VPS deal

A low headline price is only one field. Before ordering, connect the plan name, introductory period, renewal terms, taxes, and fees to the same official source page.

Workflow for checking a VPS source page

Start with the exact offer title

Keep the provider's plan name attached to the price. In the current public snapshot, IONOS titles identify a “3-month promotion”, while Hostinger entries are named KVM plans. Those labels are source text; they do not establish what the renewal bill will be.

Separate the first term from the renewal term

Open the official offer page and look for the introductory duration, the price after that duration, the billing cadence, taxes, and setup fees. If one of those fields is not published clearly, leave it unknown instead of multiplying the first price into an annual total.

Use the collection time as a checkpoint

The site records when each source was checked. A timestamp tells you when the page was observed, not how long the price will remain available. Reopen the provider page immediately before you order.

What the current snapshot actually records

ProviderSource labelPrice shownChecked
HostingerKVM 1$6.49 USD2026-10-14T00:58:50Z
HostingerKVM 2$8.99 USD2026-10-14T00:58:50Z
IONOSVPS S+ (3-month promotion)$2 USD2026-10-14T00:58:50Z
IONOSVPS M+ (3-month promotion)$5 USD2026-10-14T00:58:50Z

These values come from the site's recorded public-source snapshot. Follow the comparison page to reopen each official source and confirm the full terms.

A quick question to ask before checkout

Does this price cover the whole billing period, and what changes after the introductory term? If the provider page does not answer both parts, treat the missing term as unresolved.
